Regulations for the Advanced Classical Guitar Course

Course Objective

The Advanced Course in Classical Guitar and Chamber Music of the Valle d’Itria Guitar Festival aims to provide enrolled students with an intensive and in-depth experience in the art of classical guitar, in order to develop their technical and interpretative skills.


2. Instructors

  • Maestro Giampaolo Bandini (3 lessons)

  • Maestro Adriano del Sal (1 lesson)

  • Maestra Maria Novella Malfatti (seminar: “The Aware Voice: Music and Mindfulness in Harmony”)


3. Dates and Schedule

  • The course will take place from September 18 to 22, 2025.

  • Students are expected to arrive on September 18 and depart on September 22, 2025.

  • Students must arrange their own travel to the town of Martina Franca.

  • The organization will provide shuttle transport from Martina Franca to the B&B Trulli Valle d’Itria, located 5 km from the city center.

  • Each student is entitled to 4 hours of individual lessons and access to seminars.

  • Lessons will last 50 minutes and be scheduled by the organizing team.

The course offers a meaningful and enriching experience — a “musical retreat” where students are immersed in the peaceful Puglian countryside and can fully dedicate themselves to study and music.


4. Number of Participants

  • A maximum of 8 active students will be accepted, plus auditors.

  • Lessons will be held on September 18, 19, 20, and 21, 2025 at the B&B Trulli Valle d’Itria in Martina Franca (TA).

5. Daily Schedule

  • Each morning will begin with a 30-minute stretching session, held after breakfast and before instrumental lessons.

  • Lessons will be conducted both in the morning and in the afternoon.

  • Every evening, students will attend concerts included in the festival program.

  • During the stay, participants will have access to the B&B’s leisure areas, including a swimming pool, hydromassage tub, and garden.


6. Accommodation

  • Accommodation and lessons will be held at B&B Trulli Valle d’Itria. Additional affiliated facilities will be used if rooms sell out.

  • Rooms are available at a special discounted rate and must be reserved in advance during registration.

  • Shared room (check-in Sept 18, check-out Sept 22) with breakfast and lunch included: €300

  • Single room (check-in Sept 18, check-out Sept 22) with breakfast and lunch included: €320

  • Rooms are limited and will be assigned based on the order of registration.


7. Participation Fees

  • Registration fee: €80

  • Soloist participation fee: €320

  • Duo participation fee: €400

  • Trio participation fee: €500

  • Quartet participation fee: €600

  • Participation fees include lessons and access to the B&B’s recreational spaces.

  • Auditor fee for the full course: €50


8. Final Provisions

The Valle d’Itria Guitar Festival reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the course program to ensure the best educational experience for students.

TUITION FEES

You can submit your application online, through the official website of the festival www.valleditriaguitarfestival.it, filling all the gaps with the requested information.

The registration fee has to be paid before the submission of the online application. The tuition fee will be paid on the first day of the course.
